Please arrive at 3:30pm and register upstairs, games will start at 4pm.
This is a fun, sociable evening, with music on the ice and a meal included in the price. All abilities are encouraged to come along and try something different.
Format
The Skins format differs from regular curling in that each team plays eight different opponents in single-end games, competing for 'skins' worth at least £10 each. A skin is won if the team with the hammer scores two or more points, or the opposing team steals the end with at least one point; if neither happens, the teams share the skin. This makes for an exciting style of play, with every end feeling like the final end of a game as teams go all out to win.
Team Instructions
Teams are asked to pay £100 when they register, and to bring the other £40 in cash on the night, in four £10 notes. This will make it easy for us to hand out the prize money at the end of the evening.
Food
The entry fee include 4 meals, but extra food can be ordered at £10 per person. Please include payment for this with your entry fee. Vegetarians and special diets can be catered for if we are informed in advance.
